  • It can be done. If all the sites used atom for upload as well as down, for example. Or just had any web services setup.

    Or if all the site just let me post the results of an RSS/Atom feed that would work to.

  • Fortunately these days, unless I'm the best choice to code something, I can ask someone else to do it :) Hopefully someone else will code up an Atom feed for myspace :)

  • I guess I'll go to Wikipedia and look up "RSS" and "Atom feed". RSS I've seen before, but not Atom feed.

  • The RSS spec forked awhile back, into 2 different versions, neither very good. Enough people decided to fix it by creating a new version, but thought using a new name "Atom" would be better then creating a 3rd version of RSS. The differences are Atom is XML, well defined, and it also contains an API for uploading content.
