Awe some. When I first examined Android I was pretty excited about it's Ajax possiblities. I was thrilled when I found out how well you could theoretically communicate between an Ajax app and a Android app hosting it. With Gears in there as well it's some sort of Ultra Rich Client Platform.

And now Google gives us a google example of how to do this, in a way they aren't likely to deprecate :-P
